MANDATORY & ENHANCED COURSES

WORKFORCE SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS

At Crossroads, we believe in life-long learning to keep afloat of the industries ever changing needs while constantly fine tuning our skill sets and augmenting our knowledge base.
We require our operators, as per industry regulations, to attend mandatory courses in relation to the stevedoring sector. This ensures that they are armed with the necessary skills and full knowledge of the relevant operating procedures. Internal and external courses on safety are among the key highlights to ensure that our team is proficient with safely handling our client's assets and operating equipment while practising safe working methods. Thus, the well-being of our environment, the safety of all present parties and the preservation of our client's assets are perpetually on the forefront of our concerns.

The team is also encouraged and funded to grasp new skills and enhance their present expertise through courses catered by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) in the form of The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) thus facilitating progression and mastery.

IN-HOUSE & ONSITE TRAINING

PERSONNEL TRAINING PROGRAMME

Our fresh operators are provided with in-house training to build on their knowledge and to aid in garnering confidence for operational duties.

Each individual is given a manual which describes an operating scope and procedures for varying projects. In-house training is then conducted with project briefings and operating plans.
Safety measures are among the key highlights during in-house trainings so as to prevent any potential incidents.

Inexperienced operators are provided with onsite trainings while being under a close supervision from the senior operators.
While easing into their roles, they will be picking up and learning the necessary skills and detailed measures for successful operation.
